Wriitng a blog is one of those things that always seems to slip under the radar when things get a little too busy or life gets in the way.  To say the least we have been missing in action for quite some time now for a number of reasons but mostly because I have been a little under the weather with my second pregnancy.  I am now approaching 16 weeks  pregnant and i am so glad to be feeling well enough to start tackling the million things that have mounted up during my down time.

Sorry about the blurry photo but I made this little hat for Archie (with the help of my very clever mum) out of a recycled pillowslip that I bought from a second hand store.  I was pretty happy with how it turned out but then my husband made the comment that it was a little feminine looking for a boy with the flowers and all.  Not sure - can boys get away with this???? Probably not.  Well I will just have to keep it on the shelf for a later date I guess.  Next time I would probably make it out of a heavier fabric but not to worry it was a fairly good first attempt and only cost 20 cents...... ..
